Live in-play betting is one of the exciting benefits of online betting, giving you the chance to turn an everyday sporting fixture into an all-or-nothing battle of epic proportions. Here we will give you the low-down on live in-play bet with Coral, just follow the simple instructions below.
Step by step guide
Step 1 –Open an account
The first thing you are going to need to do before placing an in-play bet with Coral is to open an account. By clicking this link you will become eligible to claim a £20 free bet when you place your first bet of just £5 or more.
Once you have made your deposit and placed your first bet at odds of 1.5 or over, then 4 x £5 free bets will immediately hit your account and you can use them as you wish
Step 2 – Once you have registered an account with Coral and you have some money in the kitty, you can start browsing the many live in-play markets on offer. Look to the horizontal navigation bar running across the top of the Coral homepage and click on the “Bet In-Play” option to open the live in-play hub.
Step 3 – Here you will be able to see all the current live sporting events available to bet on. At the top of this hub you will find different sports next to ticked boxes. This means that all of the live events corresponding to these sports will be shown below. If you don’t want to see any of these sports, just untick them. Scroll down the page to see all the available live sporting events. We have unticked every sport except football.
Step 4 – Now you can select the odds that you wish to bet on. You can either select one of the match winning odds available on the main in-play page, or click on a specific fixture to see a multitude of live in-play betting markets, from correct final score to next goal-scorer. In this example we have gone to the full page for a match between Police FC and APR FC, where we have selected the odds for the AWAY team to win.
Step 5 – When you select a set of odds, the box they appear in will turn yellow and the selections will appear in your “Betslip” on the right hand side of the page. The bet slip is where you can manage all of your selected bets. If you are happy with your selections then enter the stake that you wish to place in the box next to each set of odds.
This is where you have to move fast. Due to the nature of live betting, the odds on all markets in-play are subject to change over the course of the sporting event. These changes happen frequently and reflect the changes in the game, be it a goal scored or simply the fact that time is running out for one team to score that late winning goal. Sometimes, a bet may even be voided by an event in the fixture. This means that you can’t hang around between selecting your odds and placing the bet.
Step 6 – You will be notified at this stage as to whether the odds you have selected have changed; this will appear as a red banner with a warning sign on your bet slip. If you are happy with the new odds, go ahead and click “Place Bet”.
Live in-play betting is a thrilling way to take a punt on some of your favourite sports. But there are more advantages to in-play betting than the fact that it will get your blood pumping.
